- Right-click Ember.app (or the
.commandfile) → Open → Open in the dialog. - Or open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
- Or in Terminal:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /path/to/Ember

After install, Ember checks for new releases on launch and updates itself in the background — verified by checksum, with a rollback backup. You can turn that off in Settings → Performance.
